Introduction
We are looking for designers and artists with a mission; not just to sketch out their ideas, or talk about them, but those who toil to bring their creativity into reality. Through their work, we hope to inspire a new generation from Asia, who would put their unique heritage and perspectives into creative design ~ designs that would make our world a better place to live in, put fun back into the workplace, and generate great joy when we play.
We are inviting you to be part of this movement.

Tools
We will provide you with a FREE CIAK journal/sketchbook.
With this journal as the standard platform, you, the designer, would use it in any way, any time to put your creative juices to work. The sketches, drawings, collages, fabric swatches, photos, scrawls and what not, are expected to be part of your creative process in developing eventual products. With 2 sizes (9x13 or 15x21 cm) and various colours to choose from, you would look stylish while you work!

Exhibition Format
The main idea is to let the public see how your ideas, thoughts and sketches on the submitted journal (through a creative process) translate into a final product.
Your CIAK journal would be placed together with at least one of your final product creations.
Your bibliography would also be exhibited for the public knowledge.
Exhibitions would be held at various suitable grounds for public viewing.
Local media in each country would be invited to the exhibition, for maximum media exposure.
Leading local designers from each city would be invited to participate.
The exhibition would be touring through Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and Shanghai. Selected works will be used for each exhibition.

Requirements of Submission
1. at least ¼ creatively used CIAK journal
2. related final product/s and work-in-process product samples
3. bibliography (MS Word/text format .doc or .txt)
4. black & white photograph of yourself

Intell ectual Property
The CIAK notebook that you use for the exhibition becomes your property. All intellectual property remains yours. However, we request to be given unlimited reproduction rights (for media and public relations use) and loan of the submitted journal for the exhibition and media purposes.
